Basavakalyan Engineering College (BEC) was established in 1998. The college is located on the banks of the historic Tripurant Lake, Karnataka. The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum. With the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, Basavakalyan Engineering College conducts courses in different branches of engineering.
Basavakalyan Engineering College Bidar is spread over an area of 30 acres of land. It provides all the basic amenities required for the smooth conduct of the courses. The campus is designed in order to provide a congenial environment for academic learning.
