The candidate must be 10+2 passed in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or HSC (Vocational stream) with minimum 60% marks. For the Lateral entry candidates, diploma in the relevant stream with minimum 60% marks is mandatory.
Post Graduate:
ME / M Tech / M.Sc
To be eligible, the candidates should have completed graduation in the relevant stream, from any recognized University.
MCA
Candidates must have done graduation and should have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects up to 10+2 level.

For the admission, government quota is filled through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Test and counseling, and for management quota, consortium of self financing professional in Tamil Nadu (TNSF-CONSORTIUM) conducts a Common Entrance Test.

Admissions are based on the TANCET entrance test, group discussion and interview. GATE/MAT qualifiers are also preferred.
