Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI) is situated in Bangalore/Bengaluru, the capital city of Karnataka. The college was established in 1955 and is managed by Mysore Education Society. It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore and recognized by the state government. Eligibility:

Undergraduate:
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS):
Candidates must have 12th std. or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry & Biology as optional subjects with english as one of the languages of study and obtained at least 50% marks in the PCB group. 40% in the case of SC / ST. Applicants must have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December of the year of the admission.

Bachelor of Dental Studies (BDS):
The candidates must have passed 10+2 level of examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology), from any recognized state/national Board.

B. Sc Medical Lab Technology:
Candidates must have passed 10+2 in science stream with minimum aggregate of 40% marks from any recognized Board.

Post Graduate:
MD:
Candidates must have passed M.B.B.S degree from any recognized university with minimum aggregate of 55% marks.

MS:
Candidates must have passed M.B.B.S degree from any recognized university with minimum aggregate of 55% marks.
Admission Procedure:

Applicants are selected on the basis of Karnataka-CET.

Master of Science (MS):
50% applicants are selected through State Entrance Examination conducted by the RGUHS and other 50% are through All India Entrance Examination conducted by Director General of Health Services.

Doctor of Medicine (MD):
