Azad Institute of Pharmacy & Research, located in the capital city Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), is managed and run by Azad Educational Society (a registered Society). Started functioning in 2005, the institute has approved and recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. Azad Institute of Pharmacy & Research conducts undergraduate and postgraduate level courses in the field of pharmacy, that is, Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) and Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm). The candidates need to have completed 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics, from any recognized state/national Board.
Post Graduate:
The candidates should have completed graduation in B.Pharm with not less than 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in aggregate, from any recognized University.
Admission Procedure:
Undergraduate:
85% seats are selected through UPSEE conducted by the University, while the remaining 15% seats are filled through the merit list prepared on the basis of marks in AIEEE/CET.

Post Graduate:
The admission of the candidates is decided on the basis of GATE exam and marks in the qualifying examination.
