Annammal College of Nursing is situated in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. The college was established in 2007 and is managed by Austin Memorial Charitable and Educational Trust. The nursing college is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai. Annammal College of Nursing is approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi and recognized by the state government. It offers Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) nursing, a degree course of 4 years duration. Candidates should have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent in science stream or Intermediate Vocational (Nursing or MPHW) or Inter, with Bridge course of Biological and Physical Sciences and should have secured minimum aggregate of 45% marks. In case of SC, ST categories, 5% relaxation is allowed. Candidates should have completed 17 years age and should not have exceeded 35 years age as on December 31st of the year of admission. For SC/ST candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years.
