The educational institution started its first academic session in 1990-1991, under the aegis of Al-Ameen Educational Society. Affiliated to Bangalore University and approved by Government of Karnataka, the college conducts one year of Bachelor’s in Education (B. Ed) course. Al-Ameen College of Education has been bestowed with the status of Muslim Minority Institution, by Karnataka Staff Government.
