Adesh Institute of Engineering and Technology, popularly known as AIET, is a self-financed and privately managed institution that has emerged as a centre of excellence for higher education in Punjab. Located in Faridkot, the college came into existence in 1996. It is affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU), Jalandhar. AIET has gained approval from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, to conduct technical courses at various levels. The college is also recognized by Government of Punjab.
Adesh Institute of Engineering & Technology is renowned for its experienced faculty members, who impart not only theoretical, but also practical education to the young aspirants. The college also encourages its students to take part in extra curricular activities. In addition to the engineering courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, AIET also offers Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA).

Undergraduate:
The applicants must have passed 10+2 examination from a recognized university/Board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one of these subjects

For lateral entry the eligible candidates must have passed diploma in Engineering from Punjab State Board of Technical Education or any recognized board/university.
For B Sc the eligible candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects.
Post Graduate:

The eligible candidates should have a Bachelors degree in related subjects or discipline.
MBA
The applicants should have passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
Admission Procedure:
Undergraduate:
Admissions to B Tech course are done on the merit basis of Common Entrance Test (CET) and All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE)
Admissions to second year of B Tech course are done on the merit basis Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET).
For B Sc the college committee is set up which decides the entire admission procedure by itself.

Post Graduate:
For M Tech course two third seats are filled by State counseling under government quota and one third seats are filled by the management.
Admissions to MBA are done on the basis of State level Management Entrance Test (MET). On the basis of MET the government quota seats are filled and management seats are filled through direct admission by College as per state government policy.
