XAT 2014 Syllabus

Xavier Admission Test 2014, popularly known as XAT 2014, is conducted by Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur. Apart from XLRI, other major management institutes in India, including Loyola Institute of Business Administration, S P Jain Institute of Management and Research (Mumbai), also conduct admission on the basis of XAT exam.

Syllabus for XAT 2014

The syllabus for Xavier Admission Test (XAT) 2014 can be explained into three parts - Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation and General Knowledge.

Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability Syllabus for XAT 2014
Miscellaneous words and sentences, jumbled paragraph, reasoning, vocabulary, English usage or grammar, comprehension from politics, linguistics, organizational ecology etc.

General Knowledge Syllabus for XAT 2014
In order to prepare for this section, candidates should have proper awareness of current affairs and important happenings around the world.

Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation Syllabus for XAT 2014
Tables, line graph and table, geometrical diagrams, profit and loss, time, speed and distance, arithmetic, algebra, modern math, geometry, and trigonometry.
