Syllabus for SVU LAWCET



Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) is bestowed with the responsibility of conducting Law Common Entrance Test (LAWCET), popularly known as Andhra LAWCET, by Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), Hyderabad. Admission into three years of Bachelor’s degree course in the field of law, along with five-year integrated LLB course provided in numerous governments, government-aided and private institutions across the state, is done on the basis of the merit of the candidates in the entrance examination.
 
Syllabus for SVU LAWCET
No particular set of syllabus is designed for Sri Venkateswara University LAWCET examination. However, the entrance examination for five-year programme is of 10+2 standard, while three-year LLB programme includes question of graduation level. The test examines the general knowledge, general mental ability, current affairs knowledge of the aspirants.  In order to prepare for these sections, one can study, newspaper, magazine, current affairs books etc. the last section of the entrance examination intends to test the abilities of the candidates to study law. The section consists of questions on reasoning, command over the application of stated principles to a given set of facts and basic knowledge of the fundamental principles of the Law and Constitution of India.
