Syllabus for GUJCET



Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) is conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, under the aegis of the Education Department, Government of Gujarat. The students, who want their admission in undergraduate programs in Engineering, Medical and Pharmacy fields, have to appear in the common entrance test. The courses are imparted at the undergraduate degree level.
 
Syllabus
Candidate appearing in the GUJCET Exam must prepare the syllabus of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology under 10+2 level of examination. The candidates can study for different combination of subjects according to their preferred field.
 
Chemistry
Chemistry in Everyday Life, Biomolecules, Polymer Substances, Nitrocompounds, Aldehydes, Ketones and Carboxylic Acids, Alcohols, Phenol and Ether, Stereochemistry, Nuclear Chemistry, Coordination Compounds, d- and f-Block Elements, p-Block Elements, Surface Chemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Electrochemistry, thermodynamics, Solution , solid State , Atomic Structure and Chemical Bonding.
 
Physics
Semiconductor Electronics and Communication, Dual Nature of Radiations and Matter, Atom and Nucleus, Electromagnetic Waves and Optics, Magnetism, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Current, Current Electricity and its Effects , Static Electricity.
 
Mathematics
Differential Equations, Definite Integration, Indefinite Integration, Differentiations and its Applications, Limits and its Applications, Vectors, 3D-Geometry, Hyperbola, Ellipse, Parabola, Circles, Straight Lines and Family of Straight Lines.
 
Biology
Modern Methods of Diagnosis, immunity and Human Health, Growth, Regeneration and Ageing, Organism and their Environment, Natural Resources : Their Kinds and Sources, Pollution and its Control, Biological Resources and Biodiversity, Population - Environment and Development , Food Production, Excretion and Osmoregulation in Animals, Movement and Locomotion in Animal, Nervous System of Cockroach and Humans, Human Endocrine System, Reproduction in Flowering Plants, Growth and Development in Plants, Reproduction and Development in Animals.
