Assam Joint Admission Test, popularly known as Assam JAT, is conducted for admitting students to various undergraduate programs in the fields of engineering, medical, dental and ayurvedic colleges as well as in the NIT, Guwahati quota. Assam JAT is conducted by the Director of Technical Education (DTE), Assam. Test center for the exam is decided by DTE Assam. The questions in the entrance test are asked from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English of the general standard of 10+2 examination, of various educational Boards of India.
