Examination Pattern for Punjab CET



Punjab Technical University Combined Entrance Test comprises of objective type and multiple choice questions. It is held in three parts.
 
Part I comprises of questions from Physics.
Part II includes questions from Mathematics.
Part III consists of questions from Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science.
 
Candidates appear for a different combination of subjects according to their preferred field. Those aspiring to join the B Arch program take up a separate aptitude test.
 
Admission of the candidates in different universities is in accordance with the respective eligibility criteria of the university. 15% of the seats in each of the colleges are reserved for the candidates with All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) score. Candidates with AIEEE score are admitted directly, and need not to take CET.
