Examination Pattern for PTET Exam



The question paper of PTET is in the form of a booklet, consisting of four sections named A, B, C & D. Each section consists of 50 questions. The candidates should mark their correct answers in an OMR sheet. In Section A, the mental ability of the candidates is tested. Section B tests the teaching attitude and aptitude of the candidates. In Section C, questions related to general awareness and current affairs are generally asked.
 
Section D consists of questions testing the language proficiency (English or Hindi) of the students – the questions are generally related to vocabulary, functional grammar, sentence structure and comprehension of the respective languages. Except for the last section, rest of the question paper will be both in English and Hindi. One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
