Examination Pattern for Kerala CEE



Kerala Common Entrance Examination (Kerala CEE) is conducted by Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala for admission into Medical, Dental, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Siddha, Architecture, Agriculture, Fisheries, Forestry, Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Engineering / Dairy Sc. & Tech. program offered at undergraduate level by numerous colleges and universities across the state.
 
Examination Pattern
Kerala Common Entrance Examination (Kerala CEE)/ KEAM conducts two separate tests for Engineering and Medical/Agriculture stream courses. Each exam consists of two papers of 2½ hours duration.
 
The Entrance Examination, meant for engineering courses except Architecture consists of following papers.
Paper-I: Physics & Chemistry.
Paper-II: Mathematics.
 
The Medical Entrance Examination is conducted for Medical, Agriculture and Veterinary Courses. The test consists of following papers-
Paper-I: Chemistry & Physics.  
Paper-II: Biology.
 
  • Each paper of the entrance examination consists of 120 objective questions, which are required to be answer in 150 minutes. Each question will have five options, the candidate have to choose the correct option. Every correct answer will fetch four marks and for every wrong answer half mark will be deducted from the total score. More than one answer indicated against a question will be considered as wrong and qualifies for negative marking.
  • There is no State level Entrance Examination for B. Arch courses. However, candidates, who desire to seek admission in this program, are required to appear in the National Aptitude Test for Architecture and should forward the NATA score and mark list to the Commissioner for Entrance Exam.
