Examination Pattern for JNTU PACET



Planning and Architecture Common Entrance Test is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) for admission into five-year Bachelor of Architecture program, six-year part time degree course in B. Arch, and four-year Bachelor of Planning program and other related courses. The entrance examination is held every year by the University for admission into its department and college affiliated to it, which offer the abovementioned courses.

 
Examination Pattern
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Planning and Architecture Common Entrance Test (JNTU PACET) is conducted every year in the month of July. The entrance examination is held only in English medium.
 
For admission into architecture program, the entrance examination is divided into two parts-
 
  • Part I tests the drawing aptitude of the candidate.
  • Part II is Aesthetic Sensitivity Test, which examines the perception, awareness, creativity, and imagination of the candidate.
 
Each test paper consists of 100 marks and is of two hours of duration. The second paper of the entrance examination for architecture program is computer based.
 
The entrance examination meant for planning program consists of single test of two hours of duration, consisting questions on logical reasoning, scientific thinking and latest social, health and other issues concerning the country.
