Examination Pattern for IIST ISAT



Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), which is a deemed university, conducts IIST Admission Test (ISAT) every year for admission to its undergraduate program in Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech). The technological institute conducts entrance test in various test centers across India. Some of them are Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Mumbai, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Calicut, and Ahmedabad. 

Examination Pattern
The students, who are aspiring their admission in various streams of technology such as Aerospace Engineering, Avionics, and Physical Sciences under B.Tech program, have to appear in IIST Admission Test (ISAT). The examination pattern of the entrance test is given in the following lines. 

  • In ISAT Entrance Test, all the questions are of multiple-choice type questions. Each question carries four alternatives from which the candidates have to choose correct answer.
  • The candidates have to answer all the questions in two sessions of two hours each. 

The question paper of the test is divided into three parts:

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Mathematics
  • There is a provision of negative marking in the test, that is, one mark is deducted for each wrong answer.
  • The questions and instructions in the paper are only in English medium.
