Eligibility for JCECE



Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) Board is entrusted with the responsibility to conduct entrance examination for admission into first year Engineering, Medical, Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Forestry and Agricultural degree programs offered in various government and private institutions of Jharkhand.
 
Eligibility
Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) is among the most renowned competitive entrance examinations of the state. In order to appear in the entrance examination, the candidate should be a resident of the state of Jharkhand and should possess the below listed educational qualifications and eligibility criteria.
 
BE
The candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board, with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as subjects of study. There is no age limit for the candidates.
 
MBBS/BDS
The candidates, who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board with not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English taken together, are eligible to appear in the entrance exam. The minimum age requirement of the candidates is 17 years.
 
B.VSc & AH
The candidates are required to pass 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects of study. The candidates are required to attain minimum of 17 years of age.
 
B. Sc Agri & B. Sc Forestry
The candidates, who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology as subjects of study, are eligible. The minimum age requirement of the candidate is 17 years.
