Eligibility for BHU GNM Entrance Test



Banaras Hindu University (BHU) Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery Entrance Test is conducted by Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. The entrance test is conducted to enroll students into nursing course at diploma level in the constituent colleges of BHU. Candidates who score qualifying marks in the admission test are then called for medical fitness test. Final selection of the candidates depends upon their performance in the entrance test as well as the medical fitness test.
 
Eligibility for BHU GNM
Candidates who are seeking admission in diploma level nursing course i.e. General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), have to fulfill the general eligibility criteria given in the following lines.
  • The candidates must have passed Intermediate or equivalent with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognized Board.
  • The candidates must have obtained minimum aggregate of 45% marks in qualifying exams.
  • The candidates must have attained the age of 17 years on 31st December, 2010 or at the time of admission.
  • SC/ ST candidates with aggregate of 35% in the qualifying examination are eligible to apply.
