Admission Procedure at Footwear Design & Development Institute Noida
Indian applicants who wish to apply for postgraduate and undergraduate tests have to undergo an All India Selection Test (AIST) that consists of a Written Examination, Group Discussion/ Creative Ability Test & Personal Interview. Candidates applying for PG Diploma in Creative Designing & CAD /CAM (PGDCD) and Diploma in Leather Goods & Accessories Design (DLGAD) have to undergo Creative Ability Test.


Overseas/ NRI candidates are given admission on first-come first serve basis. 15% seats are reserved for such candidates.

Examination Pattern
FDDI entrance exam is of 2.5 hrs duration and is conducted in English language. The entrance exam contains 150 multiple choice questions. The total entrance assessment comprises of 400 marks. The breakup is as follows:
Written Test - 150, Group Discussion - 50, Creative Ability Test - 100, Personal Interview - 100.
