Established in the year 1983, the Symbiosis College of
Arts and Commerce, Pune is one of the premier educational institutions
of the country today offering studies in the field of Arts, Commerce and
Computer Science. Though it has been in existence only for about 25
years, but it has built up a very good and positive reputation for
itself by achieving some great heights in this period. The Symbiosis
International Cultural and Education Center was founded by Dr.
B.S.Mazumdar in the year 1971, who is serving as the current Principal
and Principal Director of the Symbiosis Society. The college is
affiliated to the University of Pune.
Over a period of 35 years, Symbiosis has set up 32 institutions
providing education in a wide range of subjects. All the various
institutes are situated in 8 campuses of Pune. It is registered under
the Society's Registration Act, 1860 and the Bombay Public Trust Act,
1950. The college always strives to promote good understanding among the
students of both India and abroad by providing a common platform for the
students to share. The college has also been ranked 7th best in India,
by a survey that was conducted by the India Today group.
The Symbiosis College is an institution which provides quality education
to all its students. With the help of excellent faculty members, a
student not only performs well academically but the personality of the
student is also developed to a great extent.
Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, Pune provides some excellent
